Eden Mill

Eden Mill St Andrews is one of Scotland’s leading contemporary premium craft gin and scotch malt whisky brands. Established in 2012, it was the first distillery to make spirits in the St Andrews area in more than 150 years. Today, Eden Mill has a unique selection of limited release Single Malts, and an extensive gin portfolio crafted from the finest botanicals, many sourced from in and around Fife. 

The Eden Mill site combines traditional equipment – including a mash tun, six washbacks, a gin still, and whisky stills – with a warehouse capable of housing 300 casks. With a production capacity of 1 million litres of pure alcohol per year, it is a distillery designed to grow sustainably. 

The distillery is powered entirely by renewable energy, sourced from the University of St Andrews’ solar farm and green grid tariffs. 

In early 2023, Ruby Capital invested in Eden Mill St Andrews, recognising the company’s ambition in terms of its sustainability goals, the quality of its scotch whisky and gin products as well as its desire to be a leading contributor to supporting the local community and economy.
